Chiang Mai TOUR (three days, two nights)
Elephant trekking.
Karen Tribe, Longneck.
Day 1
We will leave from Chiang Mai aroun 9 am and travel by truck to the local market where you can shop for about half an hour.
Afterwards we will drive to a spectacular waterfall where we will have lunch.
After lunch we will hike for 3 hours to a Karen village, where we will spend the night in beautiful surroundings.
Day 2
8 am local breakfast, hike for 1.5 hours to the peak of the highest mountain of the area (1900 meters). Than 1.5 hours back down to lunch with the Karen Tribe people. After lunch you can enjoy and look around in the authentic village.
After that 1.5 hours back to ghe camp with the waterfall for a swim.
Day 3
After breakfast hike for 2 hours along the scenic riverside. You will see more waterfalls and can stop for a refreshing swim. Afterwards we will raft downriver to have lunch and meet the elephants and their mahouts.
1.5 hours ride on the back of an elephant and back to the truck.
We will be back in Chiang Mai around 6 pm.
Included in this tour are accomodation and transportation, your tourguide. All food from first day lunch to 3rd day lunch including tea and coffee. Rucksack, sleeping bag, safe storage for your valuable belongings, bamboo raft and elephant ride.
