ERAWAN TOUR (three days, two nights)
Infamous River Kwai Bridge
War Museum.
Day 1
We pick you up in your hotel in Bangkok (before 8 am, depending on your location) and bring you to Kanchanaburi for a good 2 hours drive in a shared comfortable minibus.
Around 9.30 am we will arrive in Kanchanaburi, home of the well known Bridge of the River Kwai. You will have time to visit the bridge and the World War II museum.
Around noon we will take you to the KITTI rafts house and restaurant where you will have lunch. After lunch we will take a trip to the Hell-Fine-Pass Memorial Museum.
Around 4 pm we will go back to the KITTI rafts house, where we take a long tail boat upstream to the surrounding on the Kwai-Noi river.
We will stop after 1 hour and get raft back downstream.
Around 7 pm we will have dinner in local Thai style.
Day 2
Breakfast around 8.30 am whereafter we will take you to the Elephant camp.
You can have a look around how they train the elephants, and have a elephant ride for 1 hour in the jungle.
We will have lunch at Saiyok-Noi Waterfall and trekking to a large cave of limestone type with a very narrow opening.
We will return by train along the Death railway including the curving Wooden Bridge built by the allied prisoners of World War II.
Around 5 pm get back to KITTI rafts house to have dinner around 7 pm. After dinner you will stay overnight in a floating house.
Day 3
After breakfast we wil bring you to Erawan National Park. The seven steps waterfall overhere is the most beautiful one in West Thailand. Here you can relax, swim and enjoy the scenery of the National Park.
We will have another train journey to Tha-Kiran station, after arriving here we will continue the trip to Bangkok where we will arrive around 7 pm.
Included in this trip are all admission tickets, transportation for the whole tour, World War II cemetry, World War II museum, Bridge over the River Kwai, Train, Lunch, Elephant Riding, Bamboo Rafting, Erawan Waterfall, Hell-fire-pass Memorial Museum and the tour guide.
